Sharon MARIE Tate

Sharon Tate was a beautiful and pregnant 26 year old American actress when she was murdered in
August 1969 by a cult called The Manson Family. I am no relation to Sharon, but I have been
dedicated to her memory for the past 4 years, I know everything about her, I love her with all my
heart, I feel like I knew her and I look at her pictures every day and remember what a sweet,
wonderful lady she was. It is because of Sharon that I met my best friend, Gina, who lives in
Texas, Gina and I have a close friendship and we are more like sisters than best friends.

Sharon Marie Tate was born on January 24 1943, she was the oldest child born to Doris and Paul Tate,
her two younger sisters, Debra and Patti, followed. Sharon was always beautiful, she had long
blonde hair, almond shaped hazel eyes, the most beautiful smile and a gorgeous body. The first
movie she starred in was called Eye Of The Devil and she was fabulous in it, she was a very good
actress and the camera absolutely adored her. The most famous and talked about movie she starred in
was Valley Of The Dolls and she was wonderful in it. In 1964 she met Hollywood hairstylist Jay
Sebring at a Thankgiving party and they bonded immediately and started a relationship together.
Then while filming The Fearless Vampire Killers in 1967, she fell in love with the director, Roman
Polanski. Sharon told Jay immediately that she had fallen in love with someone else, Jay asked to
meet him and he became a close friend to both Sharon and Roman. Sharon and Roman married in London
on January 20 1968, they soon moved into their beautiful home at Cielo Drive in the Hollywood Hills.
When Sharon became pregnant in late 1968 she was overjoyed, she absolutely adored children and
could not think of anything more wonderful than being a mother and what a wonderful mother she would
have been, but soon fate was to deal a hard blow that would shatter all her dreams.

Sharon was a sweet, kind-hearted and angelic lady who was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of
knowing her, especially her husband and family. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone,
Roman described her as "the perfect woman", she was a very happy and special person who
was sweet to everybody, she was such an extraordinary person that everyone in Hollywood who met her
loved her immediately which is a rare thing in Hollywood.

By August 1969, Sharon was heavily pregnant with her son and happily married to prominent movie
director, Roman Polanski. Life was good and just two weeks before she was due to give birth she
died along with her baby. On the evening of August 9 1969, Sharon was at home at Cielo Drive with
Jay Sebring and friends Abigail Folger and Voyteck Frykowski, Roman was working in London at the
time. Entering the home was three members of The Manson Family instructed to go there to kill by
their leader, Charles Manson. Sharon had the agony first of watching her friends die in front of
her, Jay died trying to save Sharon's life, but unfortunatley he failed. Sharon pleaded for
her life and the life of her unborn child, but they ignored her cries and she was stabbed 16 times,
she was only 26 years old. The lives of her family and her husband were shattered, losing her was
the hardest thing they had ever endured. Sharon's parents and sister, Patti, are now in heaven
with her and baby Paul, Sharon's son. Roman re-married many years later and now has two
children, but as said in his biography, Sharon will always be a part of his life.

I know you are watching Sharon and I want you to know that Shaun, Gina and myself love you very much
and always will until the day we die, I pray you are at peace and happy with your baby and your
family. I wait for the day when we meet in heaven for the first time.
